If I have a retirement account, say a 401k or an IRA, can I use those funds – not to borrow – but as an investment in a mutli-tenant residential apartment complex that I will be leasing to unrelated tenants to derive income? How is this done? Who do I talk to about the details?

final salary or money purchase scheme?
Assume i only work for 1 year at my company and i also retire in one year time. i contribute 4.1% (gross) into the final salary pension and my earnings are £15,000.
Is this calculation correct for a final salary?
1/60*15,000*1 year = 249.99
is 249.99 the figure i would receive each year after year 1 untill i die and rise in line with inflation?
or, do i opt for the money puchase scheme where my employer match my contritbution of 4.1%. 1 year later:
615+615=1230.
I know i need to use the 1230 from the final salary to purchase an annuity (assume 6%=73.8) which is alot less than the final salary of 249.99. thus, it is best to opt for the final salary?
Thanks

I am a senior with good credit. I need to purchase a home in the city where my daughter lives. My “income” i?
(I am asking this question for my father – in his words.) “I am a senior with good credit. I need to purchase a home in the city where my daughter lives. My “income” is based on social security and a few annuities. I have a few IRAs and trusts set aside with other investments such as stocks and cds, plus I will ultimately sell my current home that is paid off. Will I be able to get funding for a new home purchase?”
Are there Fixed Annuites that you can purchase without any surrender charges if your over 61?
In this context the purchasers of annuties would be at least 62 years old investing anywhere from $50,000 to $300, 000. The question is are there annuties they can buy and not be penalized by withdrawing all or part of the principal regardless of the time period the monies have been in the annuity.

Should I purchase an immediate annuity at my age 77, or perhaps long term care insurance? Income $2000 month?
Or, should I buy an immediate annuity? Home value $200,000, mortgage free. CDs $150,000. Paid-up burial policy and $5,000 life insurance policy. No debts except usual household expenses and home maintenance. Disabled son lives with me.
my mother is 81 and wants to purchase a fixed annuity. does the principle go directly to beneficiaries upon?
her death? i’m asking because she may only get that income for a few years. i don’t want $200,000.00 to go down the drain and she only had 2 or 3 years of income. how much should she expect per month?

see the results of that buyout in my Metlife Annuity account? I already noticed in Scottrade that EOP was removed from list of stocks a few days ago.
